Study Highlights Pomegranate’s Anti-Aging Benefits

A recent independent study from the University of Valencia, Spain, found that Euromed®’s pomegranate extract, Pomanox®, may prevent age-related frailty in mice. The research showed improved motor coordination and reduced oxidative stress in the cerebellum, the brain area responsible for balance and coordination. This punicalagin-rich extract also supports cardiovascular, metabolic and cognitive health.

The researchers found that Pomanox® could be a practical dietary aid to prevent age-related decline. The results of the study were published in MDPI and highlight the extract’s potential to promote healthy aging by influencing gene expression related to cellular health.
